Who We Support

Dr.PAWPAW’s official charity partner.

Adding to our ongoing charitable contributions, we are proud that Teenage Cancer Trust is our official charity partner. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only charity in the UK dedicated to meeting the unique and complex needs of teenagers and young adults with cancer. They have been doing so for the past 30 years through their award-winning specialist nurses and support staff, as well as their 28 state of the art hospital wards within NHS Hospitals.

In support of our charity partnership, meet Dr.PAWPAW Shimmer Balm! A % from the sale of each Dr.PAWPAW Shimmer Balm will go to Teenage Cancer Trust. Four moving stories from young people helped by Teenage Cancer Trust feature on the back of the Dr.PAWPAW Shimmer Balm packaging, highlighting the amazing work of the charity’s nurses, youth support teams and special hospital wards that help ensure no young person goes through cancer alone.

Dr.PAWPAW Ethics - Dr.PAWPAW team at Crisis

Dr.PAWPAW is proud to support Crisis

…a UK national charity for single homeless people. Crisis was formed in 1967, as an urgent response to the growing homelessness crisis. Since then they have helped tens of thousands of people out of homelessness and campaigned for change.

The charity now offers year-round education, employment, housing and well-being services. We are working closely with the team at Crisis to help end homelessness.

Dr.PawPaw X Save the Children

Dr.PAWPAW have teamed up with Save the Children US on the creation of Dr.PAWPAW Shimmer Balm 25ml. $0.50 from each Shimmer Balm sold at Ulta Beauty will be donated directly to Save the Children to support their work for children in the United States.

On the ground in America’s hardest-to-reach, rural communities, where it’s toughest to be a child, Save the Children is giving children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm – transforming the future we all share.

Who We Support 1
Dr.PAWPAW Ethics - shea butter nut

Dr.PAWPAW’s Shea Butter is sourced from the sub Saharan desert…

…our suppliers have joined forces with The Ghanaian Women Project, who have developed an environmentally friendly, socially equal and therefore a sustainable model to supply Shea Butter.

The Ghanaian Women’s project also helps financially support communities and has drastically increased communities and projects that are protecting some of the last remaining biodiversity rich areas of the West African Savannah including the Shea Parkland and the hippos of the Black Volta River which runs alongside north west Ghana.

As a young brand of just 6 years, we have always strived to be inclusive, diverse and to never discriminate.

We aim to do all we can, with whatever we can, even though we do not have all the tools or the resources to help others at times. However, we do all we can. We recognise we have a voice. We have donated to the below causes and we support their efforts to make a change to the world we live in.

Black Lives Matter, the global organisation who fight for freedom, liberation and justice to eliminate white supremacy and build local power to stop violence inflicted on black communities by vigilantes.

Show Racism the Red Card, the UK anti-racism and education charity whose work includes implementing educational workshops for young people and adults in schools, workplaces and at events to educate, discuss and raise awareness of the importance of anti-racist movements.

Southall Black Sisters work to challenge and combat domestic and gender violence, both locally and nationally in the UK, so that black (Asian & African-Carribbean) women can live without fear or violence and receive justice, equality and freedom.

Dr.PAWPAW proudly supports Stone Wall UK as an ambassador with our monthly donations and encourage always, acceptance without exception.

Stone Wall UK work to create a world where everyone feels free to be who they are, wherever they are, by empowering individuals, transforming institutions, changing hearts and minds and changing and protecting laws.

We also proudly support our local LGBT+ charity Galop UK. The team at Galop provides much-needed advice and support to people who have experienced biphobia, homophobia, transphobia, sexual violence or domestic abuse.

We still have a way to go, but we join in support of change for a better and kinder world.
